That night, they had drinks and relaxed in a hot tub at Steve's house before a barbecue at Brad and Gig's house. Our family drove 5 hours to spend 3 days at the Sounds, where they built huts, skipped stones across the water, and went for a hike up a hill. However, the long car ride made the author feel sick and they thought they could have built their huts better if they had more time to add leaves for shelter from the rain that prevented them from sleeping in their huts.
West Melton show

- 2. WWHITE HAT I went to Lake Tekapo on the second week of the holidays. The first day we arrived in Tekapo we went tubing. It is when you go down a steep hill on mini ski biscuits. The second day we went skiing up in Round Hill and I went on the whizzing pomma and the zooming T bar. The third day we did a half day skiing and did tobogganing in the morning and skiied in the afternoon.
- 3. RED HAT My holiday made me feel amazing and I did NOT want to go home. I was a bit nervous going down the T bar.
- 4. YELLOW HAT. I loved the holiday and we could spend time with our friends. That was amazing because they are really good friends of ours .
- 5. BLACK HAT I went up the T bar and COULD NOT GET DOWN. It was so steep and scary.
- 6. GREEN HAT I kept reminding mum and dad it would be better to stay longer.
