Sam has the power to cause earthquakes due to his ability to control the element of Earth. He has a short temper that triggers his powers, which could endanger others. Sam decides to help stop a zombie apocalypse both to save the world and work out his anger. Through this experience, he learns to better manage his emotions and feels he has become a better person as a result. His goal is improving his ability to control his anger to avoid unintentionally hurting others with his powers.

1. Sam's goal is to be able to control his emotions better. He
has a very short temper and his powers take the brunt of it
by causing natural disasters whenever he gets worked up.
The only reason Sam initially gets involved in saving the
world from the zombie apocolypse is because it would be
something to take his anger out of, and he'll save the world
at the same time. However, as a result of the apocolypse, he
learns how to control his anger better and feels like a
better person for it.
His flaw is his anger. When he's angry, he causes
earthquakes (he has the element of Earth), which can have
dangerous effects on society so he feels like he needs help
to control it - he doesn't want to hurt anybody.
