Sakeeb Akram has a BS and MS in Mathematics from the University of Dhaka. He has technical skills in MATLAB, Mathematica, Fortran, and Python. For his MS project, he used Matlab to work on a project about option contract pricing. In addition to academics, he organized his school cricket team and cultural activities. His hobbies include analyzing sports, traveling, reading history and science fiction, and teaching students. In a team of 3, completed a project on the ground of Mathematical Finance named’ Option
Contract: From tree based valuation to Algorithmic Pricing’ where I acted as one of the key
member. We used ‘Matlab’ on project.
Co-curricular activity
I organized and led our school cricket team to win trophies and took part in cultural activities as
well. I have organized several tour outside Dhaka and also organized a tour to Nepal with friends.
I also participated in various social works and distributed over a hundred of winter clothing’s to
street children.
Hobbies and Interests
 Analyzing sports specially cricket, football, tennis is one of favourite time passing.
 Travelling and touring across the country and abroad.
 Reading history, novels, and science fictions.
 Teaching and having joyous moments with students.
