1. Employees evacuation – active gathering points
If we change them from the informational board into
active infrastructure we can get:
• improvement of gathering points visibility
• possibility for counting gathered employees
• one- od two-way audio communication between
emergency services dna gathered employees
• remote supervision employees gathering and
evacuation
According to law obligations every factory and industry area
should have prepared analysis of local hazardous substances
and the plan of employees evacuation. Different level of
dangerous demand different safety, monitoring and
communication systems. A part of them are – gathering points.
We propose installing active multifunction station instead standard information boards
„Emergency gathering point”. Active stations connected to comminication (TCP/IP)
network can influence on rise employees and infrastructure safety in every industry
areas.

• two-way voice communication (A, B, C i D)
• possibility of visual supervision with CCTV cameras (C i D)
• possibility of people counting with CCTV cameras and
advanced video analytics or with card readers (e.g. HID
or RFID) (C i D)
• possibility of people identification with card readers
(e.g. HID or RFID)(D)
• possibility of advanced analysis of crowd behaviour
(including dynamic people counting, people group
moving, etc.) with CCTV cameras and advanced video
analytics
• there are possible to arrange additional functionalities
by the integration active gathering stations with existing
wired and wireless systems with common Ethernet

2. Additional communication systems – renovation areas,
hazardous areas
Industrial voice communication (one and two-way) systems are usually divided
into parts dedicated for functional parts of the factory (for chemical company we
have e.g. refining, distillation, enrichment part, etc.). This allows efficient
supervision for certaing group of specialists and employees, but systems working
independently. Dangerous situation coreving more than one functional part of
industry demands voice communication wider range than usuall.

systems, e.g. digital TETRA, can working
on a whole factory terrain. But we need to
remenber, that voice communication
reacher only employees having own
wireless communication terminals.

Using in voice industry communication systems local terminals using VoIP (SIP
protocol) allowing easy integration with a wide range other systems. Additionally
it gives opportunity more efficiently use local LAN network and many kind of
wireless solutions (working with licensed and unlicensed frequency).

3. Thermal imaging – video analysis for equipment failure
prevention and avoiding mass dangerous situation
A lots of industry having chimneys significant height (e.g. chimney showed at left
picture having 200 meters). Installing thermal imaging surveillance cameras at this
kind of objects giving opportunity of covering video surveillance very big area.
Detecting enormous rising temperature certain parts of infrastructure, open fire or
different enormous situation tightly connected with temperature can avoid risk of a
fire and explosion. Additionally thermal imaging is a useful tool for analyse a state
of metal construction, pipe systems, tanks.

Możliwości poprawy bezpieczeństwa infrastruktury –
rozwiązania techniczne
Preparing the thermal imaging surveillance cameras system as a tool for
supporting production process management allow early detecting tank leakeges,
pipeline leakage covering damages. Thermal imaging can also help to find peoples
in buildings by detecting them as a thermal picture at dangerous area.

saving tool and important part of
industry safety systems.

Safety for the industry - active gathering points

  • 3. Additional way for human and infrastructure safety increasing – technical solutions 1. Employees evacuation – active gathering points If we change them from the informational board into active infrastructure we can get: • improvement of gathering points visibility • possibility for counting gathered employees • one- od two-way audio communication between emergency services dna gathered employees • remote supervision employees gathering and evacuation According to law obligations every factory and industry area should have prepared analysis of local hazardous substances and the plan of employees evacuation. Different level of dangerous demand different safety, monitoring and communication systems. A part of them are – gathering points.
  • 4. We propose installing active multifunction station instead standard information boards „Emergency gathering point”. Active stations connected to comminication (TCP/IP) network can influence on rise employees and infrastructure safety in every industry areas. Presented solution gives a lots of improvement: • better visibility due to use flash lamp (A, B, C i D) • central management all station functionalities (A, B, C i D) • two-way voice communication (A, B, C i D) • possibility of visual supervision with CCTV cameras (C i D) • possibility of people counting with CCTV cameras and advanced video analytics or with card readers (e.g. HID or RFID) (C i D) • possibility of people identification with card readers (e.g. HID or RFID)(D) • possibility of advanced analysis of crowd behaviour (including dynamic people counting, people group moving, etc.) with CCTV cameras and advanced video analytics • there are possible to arrange additional functionalities by the integration active gathering stations with existing wired and wireless systems with common Ethernet TCP/IP protocol for communication Additional way for human and infrastructure safety increasing – technical solutions

Additional communication systems – renovation areas, hazardous areas Industrial voice communication (one and two-way) systems are usually divided into parts dedicated for functional parts of the factory (for chemical company we have e.g. refining, distillation, enrichment part, etc.). This allows efficient supervision for certaing group of specialists and employees, but systems working independently. Dangerous situation coreving more than one functional part of industry demands voice communication wider range than usuall. Only wireless voice communication systems, e.g. digital TETRA, can working on a whole factory terrain. But we need to remenber, that voice communication reacher only employees having own wireless communication terminals.   • 7. Using in voice industry communication systems local terminals using VoIP (SIP protocol) allowing easy integration with a wide range other systems. Additionally it gives opportunity more efficiently use local LAN network and many kind of wireless solutions (working with licensed and unlicensed frequency). Thermal imaging – video analysis for equipment failure prevention and avoiding mass dangerous situation A lots of industry having chimneys significant height (e.g. chimney showed at left picture having 200 meters). Installing thermal imaging surveillance cameras at this kind of objects giving opportunity of covering video surveillance very big area. Detecting enormous rising temperature certain parts of infrastructure, open fire or different enormous situation tightly connected with temperature can avoid risk of a fire and explosion. Additionally thermal imaging is a useful tool for analyse a state of metal construction, pipe systems, tanks. Additional way for human and infrastructure safety increasing – technical solutions

Możliwości poprawy bezpieczeństwa infrastruktury – rozwiązania techniczne Preparing the thermal imaging surveillance cameras system as a tool for supporting production process management allow early detecting tank leakeges, pipeline leakage covering damages. Thermal imaging can also help to find peoples in buildings by detecting them as a thermal picture at dangerous area. Fixed and PTZ surveillance cameras dedicated for thermal imaging (e.g.Flir products) installed at the top of buildings and chimneys can be a life saving tool and important part of industry safety systems.
