1. The Research Scholars Orientations and Forums are presented by
the Office of Research and Graduate Studies. They are an interactive
learning experience associated with the Research Scholars
Certification Program, providing an in-depth look at record keeping,
data ownership and data management. They are an integral part
of Responsible Conduct of Research training, and they will be of
interest to every graduate student and postdoctoral fellow who
plans to publish research or other scholarly work.
Dr. Leon Anderson is the head of the USU Department of
Sociology, Social Work, and Anthropology.With over 30 co-authors,
Dr. Anderson has published two books and forty articles and book
chapters. Drawing on his writing and editorial experience, he will
talk about the ethics, politics, pragmatic realities of co-authorship
in the academy and lead the forum in analyzing several case studies
involving co-authorship.
