Design standards exist for rotomoulded storage tanks.
• Find them.
• Use them.
Some are better than others.
✓ ASTM D1998 is a good starting point for simple round tanks
✓ AS/NZS 4766 standard provides the global rotomoulding industry with a
comprehensive road map to manufacture any tank in the 21st century.
When your storage tank becomes larger in capacity, or the application
becomes more demanding, Polymer selection, Pigment dispersion and UV
stability of the raw material become more important to obtain long product
life.
