Rupert Murdoch was born in Australia in 1931 and grew up around his father's news corporation. After his father's death, Murdoch worked for several corporations before moving to the United States. He went on to acquire or found many major media companies including Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Post. Murdoch remains actively involved in running Fox Broadcasting Corporation and believes strong leadership is needed to build successful corporations.
