STEP WISE VEHICLE REGISTRATION PROCESS
BOOK SLOT ONLINE :
 Customer need to book the slot online one day before the registration
Web site for online registration : www.transport.telangana.gov.in

Terms And Conditions For Online Slot Booking:
1. Customer need to book the slot one day before going for registration.
2. Customer cannot book the slot for the same day.
3. If the customer has missed the booked slot date he can re-book the slot any
number of times within 30 days from the date of delivery. The customer need
not pay any charges for slot booking if it is with in 30 days.
4. If the customer is re booking the slot or modifying the dates after 30 days he
need to pay online charges of Rs.25/-. If the customer is paying through e-
seva he/she may have to pay additional charges of Rs.35/-. If it is 3rd time and
above he/she need to pay Rs.400/- for every slot.
List of documents required for Registration
The customer has to carry the following list of documents at time of Registration:
1. Slot booking copy (Online first page print)
2. Form 20 ( If the hypothecation is there 2 sets)
3. Form 21 ( Signed by Dealer)
4. Form 22 (Given by vehicle manufacturer duly facsimiled)
5. Life Tax Receipt
6. Temporary Registration Certificate
7. Invoice form the Dealer
8. Insurance Copy (Wherever applicable)
9. Vehicle Price list
10. Pan card
11. Address Proof ( Which was submitted at the time of vehicle delivery)
Incase the vehicle is purchased on company name he/she need to provide the
following list of documents in addition to above list.
1. Form 20 ( Company First Stamp)
2. Company PAN card
3. Company Address Proof
4. Company Representative ID Proof
Further Process:
Customer Should Submit All The Above Listed Documents in Registration Counter.
Customer Will Get A Registration Receipt.
 After That Customer Need To Go To The Photograph Counter
Then The Customer Should Go To The MVI (Motor Vehicle Inspection) Office Who
Will Check The Vehicle Chassis Number, Engine Number, Body Type ( Sedan/ SUV/Hard
Top/Soft Top) Colour, Varient , and Tyre Size Number.
Customer Will Get Vehicle Number Through SMS to His/her Registered Mobile
Number on The Day Of Registration. He/She Will also Receive An SMS Indicating Date
And Time For Fixing Of Name Plate.
The Customer Need To visit The RTA Office As Per The Scheduled Date To Get The
Name Plate Fixed. ( Standard Time : 02:00pm to 05:00pm)
Later the Customer Will Receive RC ( Registration Card) Through Post At His Given
Address With In Month.
