Ronald Heister is a Dutch communications expert who studied communications and marketing and began his career working for public television and radio in the Netherlands. He later served as Director of Communications for the Mayor and Aldermen of Amsterdam, where he helped organize the marriage of the Crown Prince of the Netherlands. Currently, Ronald Heister runs his own public relations firm in Amsterdam and also serves as Chairman of the Amsterdam Association for Communication Specialists.

1. Ronald Heister (Netherlands, 1965) made his studies in communications & marketing. His career
started working for nationwide public television & radio in the Netherlands. Amongst others,
Ronald presented the daily news on radio as well as popular nationwide entertainment
programmes. His experience in communication with complex politic issues was value added to the
City of Amsterdam, where he was appointed Director of Communications to the Mayor &
Aldermen. In that position, Ronald Heister – amongst others - was involved with the organization
of the marriage between HRH the Crown Prince of the Netherlands and HRH Princess Maxíma
and was granted a Medal of Honor by HM the Queen. At present, Ronald Heister is the founder of
his own Public Relations company, based in Amsterdam. The General Assembly of the Amsterdam
Association for Communication Specialists (VSA) appointed Mr. Ronald Heister to its Chairman. The
Association was founded 44 years ago (1966) by the Honorable Nobelman Squireen F. Pleyte d'Ailly.
In 2008 Ronald founded Your Galaxy, the first tourism agency in space tourism in the Benelux,
representing amongst others Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic as Accredited Space Agent.
