Rolling Oaks Country Club is a short, narrow municipal course on Long Island that serves as a good warmup course early in the season. While the staff is nice, the narrow fairways can turn it into a "shooting gallery" where errant shots are punished. The author describes the layout of several holes, noting the 6th hole as the best on the course. Though they have broken 80 here before, the course is not very challenging for better players. It is best suited for beginners rather than scratch golfers.
