The back 9 of Rock Hill golf course feels like a different, easier course than the front 9. Hole 10 has beautiful views of the ocean but plays long at 415 yards for the author. Hole 11 is the easiest, a sharp dogleg left with traps to discourage cutting the corner. Hole 12 is a nice par 5 with woods on both sides making it hard to cut corners. Hole 16 always plays long for the author who often finds the fairway bunker and then the bunker in front of the green. In contrast to many courses, Rock Hill's 18th is challenging as the second shot is blind uphill. The author's best round was an unexpected 88 at Rock Hill after an outing.
