The students had to make changes to their roller coaster project. They changed the stop cup because they had trouble agreeing on the design. They added sticks to the base to make it more stable and prevent leaning. They also added a toilet paper roll to the end for stability. The height of the roller coaster was changed so the marble would not get stuck. Pipes were placed on top of each other to give the marble a smooth ride down. They learned it is difficult to make a roller coaster but combining all ideas leads to a free-standing design. Acute angles are needed to increase the marble's speed. Working as a team requires managing problems together and finding alternatives if things do not go as planned.

4. What had to be changed in our project
What had to be changed in our project was that we had to change our
stop cup because, we had difficult time agreeing. Another thing we had to
change was the base because, the base was unstable so we added sticks
so the roller coaster would not lean. We added a T.P ( Toilet Paper) roll to
the end so it could stand and be stable. Also we had to change the height
of our roller coaster because, the marble kept getting stuck around the
end of the coaster that means it could not come out. We had to put a pipe
on top of the other pipe so it can have a smooth ride.

5. What Worked With The Design
What worked was….
● The project was free standing.
● The marble went down like a roller coaster cart.
● We were able construct the design.
● The roller coaster was steep and the velocity of the marble went down
fast.
● We were able to make the hill we wanted to make.

6. What did we learn from our project
We learned that we had to combined all of our ideas in order to make a
roller coaster that is free standing. Also we learned that making a roller
coaster is a difficult job. Another thing we learned is that we had to have an
acute angle to make the velocity aka (speed) of the marble go faster. Also,
listen to what other people has to say instead of doing it your way. When
you and your team run a project, there are a lot of problems that need to
be managed together and if things don't go right you have to find another
way instead of giving up.
