and the dry (rabi) season. Traditional methods of rice cultivation include transplanting

known as "boro" rice. Farmers also practice "aus" rice cultivation, which is less
dependent on irrigation.
Jute Production: Jute, often referred to as the "golden fiber," has historical significance
