This document discusses a mathematical model for calculating regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF), cerebral metabolic rate of oxygen (CMRO2), and other physiological parameters based on measurements of tracer concentrations over time in brain tissue and arteries. The model includes three equations relating tracer concentrations in tissue and arteries to rCBF, CMRO2, and a parameter for blood volume.
