6. Steps to complete an assignment
An assignment must be submitted every month. Use
the following steps to organize your work, so that
you can finish the assignment on time.
1. Find study material at (RKU library books, online videos
and other resources. Links given in next slide.)
2. As you read and study, write what you are learning and
thinking. Write your opinions and analysis of the course
material. How will you use the knowledge in your future
work? Write everything that comes into your mind.
Write it all in the body of the RKU assignment template.
(1.5 spacing between lines, 12 font size of the letters.)
3. Add pictures, graphs, and tables.
4. As you study, add each reference of bibliography to your
Word program.
5. When you have finished writing the body of the
assignment, write the introduction and the conclusion.
(Each should have 3 to 6 paragraphs.)
6. To complete your assignment, you have to submit to you
Professor email make sure that you notified him about
your submission

7. Finding Study material
There are vast amount of information available on the
internet.
You can use books and videos for study material. If you
have trouble with internet, download your study material
so that you
can work offline.
We have two libraries at RKU.
1. Online library…knows as Global Academic Journals
in Science ad Technology www.gajst.org
2. 2. RKU’s Whatsapp library A,B and C … We also
have all books available through a student request.

8. Active learning exams
You have at your disposal the RKU Active
Learning Exams.
These exams use textbooks in the RKU library.
Use the RKU assignment template given before in
this presentation. The assignment will have a cover
page, introduction, answers to the exam questions,
conclusion and a bibliography.
The bibliography should have at least 3 references so
that we can see your efforts in researching the topic
of the exam.

9. To write an essay, use the RKU assignment
template given to your Processors.
The assignment will have a cover page, introduction,
essay body, conclusion and the bibliography.
The introduction will include the concepts that you will
present in the essay, the questions that you want to
answer and why you wanted to study this course for your
future work.
The body of the essay will include a summary of the
concepts, case examples to illustrate the concepts, your
analysis of the concepts, graphs, photos and any other
ideas that you want to express.
The conclusion will include a summary of the concepts
covered, your opinions of the concepts, how you will
apply the knowledge in your future life.
The bibliography will show a list of the references that
you studied for the course. The bibliography is important
to show us your efforts in researching the course.

10. Online courses
RKU has an extensive list of available online
courses in many subject areas.

If you need a full list of Online courses,
please request this from your tutor.
Once you finish an online course, you
will request a quiz for the course. The
quiz will then be assigned to your email
inbox.

11. Innovation
Your assignments receive higher grades when
you write original text.
We want to read your life experience, your
voice, your soul and your life. We do not want
to read the words of anybody except you.
You will evaluate your assignments for
originality before you submit them.

view a report that shows the text from other
sources so that you can write that text in your

Remember: We prefer shorter assignments that
are original to longer assignments that are
copied. Originality is very important at RKU.

What is the difference between a tutor and an advisor?
Your tutor will help you with completing courses.
Your advisor will evaluate your finished assignments.
If you have any questions about your courses, first seek
the assistance of your tutor.
