Reddit to Twitter Data Pipeline
• Created an ETL pipeline in Python which auto-accumulates thousands of posts from a subreddit, transforms the posts into tweets, and
sends out the tweet, while storing relevant data in a database. Utilized Reddit and Twitter’s API, as well as sqlite3 for the database.
Implemented threading in the extraction to increase speed and efficiency, as well as logging for debugging.
Command Line Interface Song Downloader
• Developed a customized python script which allows users to search for any song on YouTube and Soundcloud through your
command line, download the song, and upload it to an Amazon s3 bucket automatically. Utilized the BeautifulSoup, youtube-
dl, and boto3 libraries.
Chat Room Project, Purdue University
• Created a chat server and client using Java. Server is multi-threaded and allows multiple clients to connect. Utilized threading and
sockets. Client GUI is internationalized to allow for users from different countries to use the client.
Picnics R’ Us Project, Purdue University
• Led a team of four as scrum master to help implement an online ecommerce application for a fictional catering company. Created
use case, entity relationship, and deployment diagrams, as well as made a website for the company using Wix
Reddit Link Bot
• Developed an automated bot which tests if a user requested website is malicious or not and replies to the user with detailed
information about the different threats if present. Made in Python using Reddit’s API as well as the Beautiful Soup library for
scraping.
House Scraper Script
• Built customized python-based data collection web scraper, which automatically sifts through real-estate websites for houses
on sale, based on user criteria such as price points and square footage, and parses the data to Excel.
