Ringtail possums are small furry marsupial mammals found along the east coast of Australia. They have white fur on their bellies and tails, short rounded ears with white patches, and pouches to carry their young. Ringtails live in tree holes and hollow logs in forests, and eat nuts, fruits, leaves, and flowers as herbivores.
