The document describes an art installation focused on how cancer cells can disrupt cellular communication and spread rapidly. The installation represents how a perfect system of communication in nature can be infiltrated by cancer cells, which take over communication pathways and spread quickly. It also depicts how human activity can affect and shape nature, as seen in a branch wrapped in eco-friendly plastic.

An interesting virtue of being a human being is the ability to perceive and thereby act which defines our behavior. There are myriad ways to study our behavior, and one of the most practical ways is to observe the ways in which physiological events affect behaviour. Physiological psychology is the study of human behavior through physiological impact.

Cells are the fundamental unit of life.
All living things are cells or composed of cells.
The interior contents of cells in the cytoplasm.
Cell, in biology, the basic membrane-bound unit that contains the fundamental molecules of life and of which all living things are composed.
A single cell is often a complete organism in itself, such as a bacterium or yeast.
Other cells acquire specialized functions as they mature.
These cells cooperate with other specialized cells and become the building blocks of large multicellular organisms, such as humans and other animals.
The smallest known cells are a group of tiny bacteria called mycoplasmas; some of these single-celled organisms are spheres as small as 0.2 μm in diameter.
Largest cell ….
The largest single-celled organism is an animal
called Syringammina fragilissima, which can grow to a width of 4 inches.
– are highly folded, forming a complex network of tubes.
The biological science which deals with the study of structure, function, molecular organization, growth, reproduction, and genetics of the cells, is called cytology or cell biology
(Gr., kytos = hollow vessel or cell; logos = to discourse).
Much of cell biology is devoted to the study of structures and functions of specialized cells.
Individual cells that form our bodies can grow, reproduce, process information, respond to stimuli, and carry out an amazing array of chemical reactions.
If you look around you will see a large variety of living organisms, be itpotted plants, insects, birds, your pets or other animals and plants. Thereare also several organisms that you cannot see with your naked eye butthey are all around you.

“Capture the moment”
!A perfect symphony. Catch and become caught. Each
thing in its time. Life is a movement. A circle… a life cycle.
A web can be like a disease. It can infiltrate and take over…
spreading in a very fast speed. Stopping every movement.
Freezing the moment.

2. RIKKE DARLING : INSTALLATION
It is all about life. The cycle of nature -
around and within us. How nature are
communicating. How our cells are
communicating to keep the body healthy.
!
Everything are constantly sending out and
receiving messages/signals. But what if a
cell fails to send out a signal at the proper
time? Or what if a signal doesn't reach its
target? What if a target cell does not
respond to a signal, or a cell responds
even though it has not received a signal?
!
These are just a few ways in which
communication can go wrong, resulting in
disease. In fact, most diseases involve at
least one breakdown in cell communi-
cation. This artwork are focusing on how
nature are depending on a perfect system,
and how cancer cells can disrupt this
communication, how they can infiltrate
and take over the communication and
spread in a very fast speed.
