Nello has passed away and left behind relatives. The author acknowledges that Nello's presence among them came at a cost that was paid by others as well, though they may not have fully understood Nello's way of doing things, which was always to help others even at his own irritation or expense. Now that Nello has found real peace, the author promises to remember him in their own way and not let him be fully forgotten.

CHANCES; NEVER THAN LESS RELATIVES ARE!
• NOW EVERYBODY WILL REMEMBER YOU FOR THE
GOOD THINGS YOU DID JUST FOR A SPAN OF DAY OR
