This document discusses and compares three Ruby web application frameworks: Celluloid, Lotus, and Ruby on Rails. Celluloid is an object-oriented framework that allows for building concurrent programs from concurrent objects. Lotus is a lightweight framework that separates the Model, View, and Controller layers into individual gems. Ruby on Rails is the most popular Ruby framework, favors convention over configuration, and has over 4,000 contributors.
