2. PROJECT DONE
Project #1:
Title : FWM
Client : Citi Bank.
Environment: Talend Data Quality 5.1 java 1.6, ORACLE
Duration : 36 months August’ 2011 to till date
FWM stands for FInance WorkFlow Maintainance, and this project mainly used to automate the
process of generating reports and maintaining the data base updates. FWM will create workflows
for different systems to maintain end user data base.
Once user has submitted the uploaded form, it will validate against the reference data and gone
through the Approval process of Maker and Checker and all the valid and approved data will be
moved to Oracle DB and based on these tables month end reports will be generated.
Roles and Responsibility
 Create the jobs to load reference data into Oracle DB, to perform validatios, to maintain
database, generate reports.
 Integrate the other team member jobs to create master job.
 Involved in Unit testing of the jobs.
 Trained the New Resources about ETL and Talend Tool.
 Involved in the requirement gathering and making design document for this project.

3. Project #2:
Title : CATE
Client : Citi Bank.
Environment: Talend Data Quality 5.1, java 1.6, Pwp.
Duration : 12 months August’ 2010 to June 2011
The mission of CATE DE is to effectively support sectors development groups at the enterprise
level. Leverage increased cross-sector collaboration and integration, and establish engineering
frameworks to maximize consistency and quality, while accelerating the adoption of technologies
that provide competitive advantage to Citigroup.
The domain is subdivided into the below sub-domains:

 Implementation Architecture
This project was handling with the details of citi employees, citi bank information, citi customer’s
information. We need to perform transformations and mappings on this data and make them
consistent according to user requirements.
I had involved in 2 modules named
1)pwp-----pwp means password privacy library. We had create jobs in talend which retrieves the
decrypted password according to the given username and server name by calling pwp from talend
and use this password in some other jobs where it is useful.
2) EERS----We need to get the data from the database tables into the format required for EERS
and check that all the fields are valid or not and based on this, the valid data will be sent to one file
(which will be sent to EERS) and invalid data will be sent to another file.
This also explains,
How the integration between Talend Application and EERS works.
How to get the data from the database and format it into the required EERS FEED.
How to check for the data i.e. not part of application or for what values the entitlement details are
not found.
Responsibilities:
 Participating in requirements gathering, designing, development, testing, deployment
phases.
 As an ETL Developer responsible for developing various mappings, Transformations and
for the migration of data using talend.
 Validating the ETL Design and development through Unit Testing, validate the data
populated in the data base and the data that comes up on the reports.
 Designing jobs and analysis.
 Documenting the jobs.
