Permanent Residency Retirement Visa

2. Pensioners and retirees who received a monthly pension from foreign government,
international organization or private company can apply for a permanent residence in
Panama under the retirement visa.
The pensioner must received a guarantee pension or income for life of minimum
US$1,000.00. In case of dependent (spouse and children) an additional sum of US$
250.00 for each muss be added.
If the applicant buy a property in Panama with a minimum value of US$100,000.00, the
required monthly pension would be reduced to US$750.00.

3. • Power of Attorney
• Four (4) flesh-size photos
• Full copy of the Passport duly registered and Authenticated by a Public Notary
• Non-criminal record from the country of origin or residence of applicant
• Good health certificate issued in Panama
• Affidavit of personal background.
• Letter of retirement, stating the monthly income for life.
*Additional requirementes shall be requested in case of dependents.

4. • Total duty-free allowance for the importation of articles for domestic or personal use,
up to the amount of US$10,000.00.
• Total duty-free allowance every two (2) years for the importation of a motor vehicle
for personal or family use.
• 50% discount in Cinemas, Concerts, Sports.
• 30% discount on public transportation.
• 25% discount on airline tickets.
• 50% discount on hotels from Monday to Thursday.

5. • 30% discount on hotels from Friday to Sunday.
• 25% discount in Restaurants.
• 15% discount on Fast Food Restaurants.
• 15% discount in Hospitals (if Insurance does not apply).
• 10% discount on medicines.
• 20% discount on Medical Consultation.
• 13.15% discount on eye exams and dental exams.
