Camilla Vilain is a psychology major at Mount Holyoke College with a 3.924 GPA. She has extensive experience in peer education, outreach, counseling, and global education. This my presentation for the 5th annual Atlanta Studies Symposium on Wednesday morning, April 26, 2017, where I gave a brief synopsis on the trials and tribulations of being displaced while attending college classes simultaneously. Negative stereotypes, family history, studying approaches, religious institutions' influences, and possible legal and political solutions were discussed.
