Cheng Zhang is a Master's student in Materials Science and Engineering at Boston University. She has experience researching perovskite oxide materials and their stability in molten salts using techniques like XRD. As an undergraduate in China, she conducted research on organically modified montmorillonite characterization, superhydrophobic material fabrication, and composite material preparation for heavy metal absorption. She is fluent in English and Chinese and serves as a student ambassador, helping new students adjust to Boston University.
