INTERNSHIP AND PROJECT
 Eight weeks internship at “KU Hydro Power Plant”(Lambadug) BarotBaijnath as a
trainneEngg.Where I learnt how electricity is produced in hydro power plant and how a turbine is
installed in hydro power plant and what are the requirements and problems faced to install a new
turbineetc.
 Major project on “Automatic Gear shifting mechanism” .In this project we are studying about the
mechanism how gears are shifting according to the speed and what are the future scope of this
mechanism.
 Minor project on “Effect of Roughness Geometry on the Efficiency Solar Air Heater”.The
performance characteristics of a solar heater and heat exchangers can be effectively improved by using
artificial roughness in different forms, shapes and sizes. Artificial roughness is provided in the form of
different geometries such as ribs, dimple shape roughness, wire mesh, baffles, etc. To determine the effect
of the geometries on the performance of solar heaters an experiment and numerical study has been carried
out.
