1. Training and Placement Cell Portal (Final Year Project)
This project required development of a portal for the training and placement cell of my
college. Following were the requirements as given by our project manager (placement
coordinator):

2.  Students can register themselves using standard registration process (User ID
and Password).
 After successful registration, students can create/update/view their resume.
This form includes placeholders for their academic results, internship details,
final year project and extra-curricular activities.
 The admin can review the resume submitted by students and can make
modifications, if required.
 This data is further made available to the T&P cell wherein they can sort the
student’s data on the basis of academic performance and branch depending on
the requirement of the visiting recruiters.
 The admin can also post the list of companies visiting the college on home page
with their schedule and requirements. List of students finally recruited can also
be posted.
My roles and responsibilities:
 Planning, designing and implementing backend database structure.
 Planning of number of tables to be used in database, number of fields and their
name in each database along with the type of field (data type), constraints, and
size of field and deciding the different keys to be used in tables.
 Developing different types of Queries to fetch data from tables according to the
need of the user.
2. Summer Internship with SKARTIA Computers
 Concluded my summer internship with Skartia Computers at Lucknow.
 Primary objective of the program was to gain expertise on SQL and RDBMS
system by observing and learning from experienced programmers working on
live projects.
 I was part of the team (team size 3) working on the development of a Job Portal.
My roles and responsibilities:
 Learn backend database development by being part of the planning and
development team.
 Create and deploy basic SQL queries with guidance from development teams.
 Testing of developed modules to learn testing methodologies.
