patients with permanent ankle ligament damage to reduce chronic ankle pain and dysfunction
• Used biomechanical model to evaluate effects on human ligaments
• Analyzed Instron material testing of porcine ligaments and compared with material properties
of human ankle ligaments found in previous studies
