• Planned, conducted, and analyzed over 100 interviews in order to get new associates
hired and to find the best suited person for each position.

Research Experience
Lab Assistant 08/2014 – 05/2015

• Analyzed over fifty peer reviewed research articles to further understand general
scientific research, my research, and additional ways that my research could have been
conducted.
• Monitored 8 rats the first semester and 16 rats the second in operant chambers twice a
week for two semesters.
• Allocated and administered amphetamine and saline injections in rats, twice a week for
three weeks in order to measure drug addiction in relation to impulsivity.
2. • Developed a survey and administered it to 100 students through SONA in order to
gather basic demographic information and to test a gender/word bias in a memory task
that I designed.
• Wrote up the data from the gender/word bias memory task survey in an officially
formatted APA research paper in which a significant gender/word bias was found.
• Completed an IRB form and consent form for the gender/ word bias memory task survey
and submitted them to the IRB for permission to run my study.
• Designed and conducted an experiment studying the tuition rate of a college in relation
to the environmental concern of the college, and wrote up an APA research paper finding
that there was a significant relationship between the tuition of colleges and their
environmental concern.
Leadership Experience
Girl Scouts of Wilderness Road 1997 - 2013
Teen Leadership Club Officer Kentucky
• Achieved the Silver Award, the second highest award a Girl Scout can achieve, by
completing over fifty hours of service with another Girl Scout; planning several
fundraisers for Ani-Meals on wheels, purchasing over $750 in pet food from the money
raised and volunteering at the Ani-Meals on wheels center to prepare the pet food to be
delivered.
• Achieved the Bronze Award, the third highest award a Girl Scout can achieve, by
leading a large youth program as a troop and putting in over twenty hours of service for
the setup and completion of the program.
• Assisted in running programs and camps for younger girl scouts about science and
nature.
• Held officer position in the Teen Leadership Club which generated ideas for future
events, planned upcoming events, and led events for younger girls in the area.
