Nicole JoAnna Mulcahy has held several part-time jobs in food service and retail over the past few years, working up to 40 hours per week. She has also been actively involved in her high school's music, theater, and environmental programs, directing a play and participating in numerous musical festivals and competitions. In addition, Nicole volunteers annually for cystic fibrosis fundraising events and sings with her school's chorale at a local Christmas festival.
