I am the antithesis of John Mayor’s song, “Waiting on the World to Change”, for I will never be the person who waits for problems to fix themselves. When given the chance to help a person or improve a situation, I fully dedicate myself to bring about that change. While I have been an active volunteer in the Indianapolis area, my desire to help has expanded from within my community to over- seas. I love interacting with people of other cultures and learning about their diverse social needs. Because of these interests, I am pursuing a career in business because; I truly believe that commerce can be utilized as an economic and social leverage for those in poverty and to make the world a more sustainable place to live.
