1) Transportation Aide for the Department of Transportation (Region 2, Augusta, ME) (May
2015-August 2015):
 Worked as an inspector watching over contactors/ sub-contractors working according to
standards and specifications books
 Oversaw ditching crews that preformed in-slope work, tree cutting, and other
miscellaneous jobs
 Inspected paving and keeping track of yield (average thickness of asphalt being laid
down) to make sure no extra asphalt was being used that didn’t need to be
 Other duties included watching over catch basin adjusting crews, hydro-seeding crew,
and logging quantities for payment for each job that I oversaw each day
2) Shaw’s Grocery Clerk in Waterville, ME (April 2013-January 2015):
 Assisted customers in checkout, bagging, and showing customers where products are
 Worked with other employees/ talked to customers all day increasing my overall people
skills
 Stocked new freight that came in off the trucks to shelves and broke down pallets of
freight that came in off of the truck into their perspective U-boats
 Worked in dairy and freezer
3) Fieldstone Gardens Worker in Vassalboro, ME (April 2011- November 2012):
 Worked in production taking perennials and either dividing or simply planting new ones
that came in, worked on the landscaping crew, trimmed hedges, mowed lawns, weed
wacked, planted shrubs and flowers, and also put in stone walkways
Technical Skills–
 Programming experience for CNC mills and lathes
 Created a steam engine from fully dimensioned drafts of each part using a lathe and mill
 Design experience on Solid Edge using given criteria to meet (for example: stock size,
machines available, minimum number of parts)
 Made the vise previously designed using a lathe and mill with aluminum stock, was able
to apply the prints I had made to make the physical version of the vise
 Performed engineering calculations as well as gained great navigation skills in Excel
 Created process sheets including speed and feed rates, precise part dimensioning etc.
 Knowledge in manufacturing process (participated in multiple tours of large companies
like GE and Hinckley Yachts)
Awards– Life Scout, $4,000 ($1,000/yr) U Maine Black Bear Scholarship, Edwin Wentworth
Scholarship ($1,575), 2013 Varsity Basketball Sportsmanship Award.
Public Service– Worked at a soccer camp (10’-12’) helping middle school kids develop their
soccer skills, shoveled out a church down the street from me during the winter (09’-10’), and
worked at a basketball camp for middle school kids (12’,13’). Also volunteered to help out at a
haunted hayride (12’).
