• In July 2014, I started a position in the Bureau of Budget Management (BBM) as one of two managers responsible for the
State Operations portion of the budget for my office. In this position I am responsible for overseeing staff who are analysts
for the Training program, and the NYS Commission for the Blind. In addition to these management duties, I am personally
responsible for overseeing the entire capital program, while we wait for a new hire who I will manage for that role.

• In June 2012, I started supervising one staff member on a team in the Bureau of Contracts Management responsible for
the Division of Juvenile Justice Services for Youth (DJJOY).
• My team is responsible for a portfolio of approximately 25 contracts used by OCFS to manage various services and pro-
grams.

• Starting in October 2009, I resumed my duties as a contract manager. I assisted with our annual grants process, and had
direct oversight responsibilities for 15 AmeriCorps contracts. The contracts that I managed included compliance monitor-
ing, and technical assistance for these programs.
• From 2009 through 2009, I was responsible for the risk assessment process, and compliance monitoring for all programs in
our portfolio (approximately 50 programs across the state).
• From 2000-2007, I was responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 7 programs. My duties included compliance
monitoring, and technical assistance oversight.
• From 2000-2010, I was responsible for reviewing, updating, and formulating improvements to our policies and procedures,
and our monitoring protocols.

• From 1997-2000, I was responsible for tracking the daily movement of legislative bills introduced and debated in the State
Legislature. In addition, I provided analysis and feedback on the statewide impacts of select bills introduced by the NYS
Assembly and Senate.
• I provided analysis and feedback on specific bills that were either introduced by the Division for Youth/OCFS, or any bills
that impacted that agency.
• I provided policy research and analysis on bills, and other proposals, that impacted juvenile justice, delinquency and diver-
sion strategies, and youth development in the state.
• I was responsible for providing the Division of Budget, and hence the Governor’s office, with capacity and population pro-
jections for youth residential facilities and local detention centers. In addition, I was responsible for training a new exam-
iner, and supervising his work related to population and capacity projections.
• From 1995-1997, I was responsible for the $260 million NYS Department of Correctional Services – Support Services
budget. I also was responsible for legislative bill tracking and analysis, and population and capacity projections for both the
adult, and youth residential populations.

• I was a PMI examiner for the Division of Budget from 1992-1994. I assisted the Public Authorities and Capital Finance Unit
by performing the following duties: (1) I facilitated the Industrial Development Bonds (IDB) process for the State Public
Authorities Control Board; (2) I created and managed a database for the issuance of statewide Certificates of Participation
(COPS), whereby state agency lease and vendor payments are managed; (3) I was responsible for the executive budget
2. creation and implementation for the NYS Energy Office, the NYS Energy Research and Development Authority; and, (4) I
had direct budget oversight of the Development Authority-North of the Country (DANC).
