2. Back on September 10th we published and article
here on Linkedin entitled - A Letter From A Renegade.
It’s an enlightening letter that I received from
Allana Williamson, a Renegade who made my day by
imparting a great deal of valuable insight, perspective
and wisdom in her own words that I simply felt
compelled to share with my community.
The letter reflected own her own insights, frustrations
and a deeply thought out, eye-opening personal
depiction of what her Renegade experience and
professional life looks like.
Following is a partial look at the overwhelming
response that her letter received from the Renegade
community.

Authentically, legitimately, sincerely,
whole-heartedly care.” Kudos to
Allana Williamson for expressing this
and the best part - "seemed rather
trivial". Renegades are not looking
for glory, boasting, or aiming for a
fixed target. Genuine care about
others and see others flourish
around them is the highest
satisfaction and drive to move
forward.”

was as if I could have written the same
letter (nodding my head in agreement
as I read) which speaks to the point
Steve Diedrick is making in this article
as well as the entire #renegade series.
This is a widespread issue and I believe
it's because the renegade view/
mindset is not perceived as a "safe bet"
to leaders who avoid any sort of risk at
all costs though it's actually calculated
and thought out to a renegade. Just
because we can't see craters on the
moon with our naked eye doesn't mean
that they don't exist...we simply need
advanced technology to see them.

Renegades are wired to care, want to
make a difference and WILL! Kings

it very interesting working for so many
years in large corporations that this
"caring" is so rare to find!! Most people
are out there to "win" it for themselves
but renegades do it for their people, for
the team, for the organization pouring
their heart and soul into it, very less
often for themselves - that is why they
don't sing their praises but it is always
"WE did it" for them.”

Dominican Republic, at the time the
one EE school had a tiny group of
renegades enrolled, back then you
either studied to become a lawyer, a
civil engineer, an architect or a doctor,
I remember my father asking me is I
would become a TV repair man. In 1985
upon graduation I decided to go
overseas for post graduate studies,
having little in terms of finances to
attend US schools I made a call to the
dean to the EE school at University of
Puerto Rico, back then they had no
masters program but there was one
other person interested, the dean
somehow agreed to launch a pilot
Masters program, 5 of us enrolled.

realize what Allana in her wonderful
letter and Steve with his articles are
highlighting, renegades do not see
things with negativity but as
opportunities. There's no fear of failure
but a desire to try and succeed, to
recognize how to maximize output of
those around you and to recognize the
moments that are truly important when
they appear, and to do all of this
naturally and instinctively. The world is
full of fake things, renegades are

Unfortunately, I think a lot of us spend
too much time and effort trying to

another renegade as being an "opposing
force"? From my own experience:
- Encountering another renegade who
knows and appreciates they are a
renegade, the result is a "force

executes and emotes as a renegade yet
isn't totally aware they are a renegade,
an opportunity opens to sync into a
"force multiplier"
