To evaluate a bilingual education program, the following activities were outlined: 1) Meet with the district bilingual coordinator and dual language teachers to get their input on the program. 2) Perform a classroom observation of the program to get a personal understanding. 3) Analyze second grade McGraw Hill benchmark data from the current and previous years to look for any correlations between the program and student performance. 4) Gather TELPAS and STAAR test data from the current and previous years to determine if there are positive or negative correlations between the program and student ratings on these assessments.
