Lotts AWESOME Outreach NJLA 2016
Megan Lotts, an art librarian at Rutgers University, created an outreach program using LEGOs at the Rutgers Art Library. The LEGO playing station at the Art Library engaged students and faculty from various departments in hands-on, creative activities. It helped students learn about the library's resources and built connections between the library and academic departments. Assessment found the program improved research skills and increased library use and reference questions from participating departments. The simple, low-cost LEGO station promoted creativity, critical thinking, and community on campus.
Social work research after graduation
Sources outside of the University Albany Libraries where a person can keep current on social welfare topics after graduating and moving into the field.

Slk Snapshot Day 2010
The State Library of Kansas provides library services and resources to all Kansans by collecting and sharing resources and government information, delivering information and solutions, educating librarians and trustees, promoting literacy and reading, and advocating for open access to information. In 2010, the State Library welcomed the governor for a tour of its temporary location in a modular unit near the state capitol building, answered 83 reference questions, had 31 people using public computers and wifi, circulated 565 items, and had 60 visitors.
