Editor's Notes
Temperament
No one temperament is more desirable than another. Each one has it's vital strengths, and makes it's worthwhile contribution to life.
An example from Tim LaHaye's book states:
"The hard-driving Choleric produces the invention's of the genius-prone Melancholy, which are sold by the personable Sanguine and enjoyed by the easy-going Phlegmatic".
We often enjoy our strengths, but cringe at our weaknesses. But, with help, can change our weaknesses. Most people have a mix of the temperaments but one will be pre-dominate.
The Temperament Types: As taken from Tim LaHaye's book: "Transforming Your Temperament".

Birth Order
( My info. comes from Dr. Kevin Leman's "Birth Order Book" )
Not everyone fits into their category neatly.
How many here are First born, or Only Born?
How many here are Middle Born?
How many are Last Born?
Characteristics:
First Born: perfectionist, organized, over-parented, overprotected, pressured to perform, achiever, conservative, wants control, hard driving, strong-willed, aggressive, strong need for approval, not a complainer (grins and bears it).
Only Born: critical, lonely, gets along better with someone much older or younger, super version of first born, ultra-perfectionist
Middle Born: full of contradictions. .. born too late to get the privileges and special treatment the first born received, and born too soon to enjoy more relaxed rules the youngest seems to enjoy. Usually the opposite of first born, the middle child is the hardest to define.
Last Born: love the limelight, family clown, outgoing charmers, affectionate, uncomplicated, absentminded, personable manipulators.
