This document discusses opportunities for recycling water treatment plants in various industrial estates throughout Indonesia. It provides an overview of current water and wastewater facilities, as well as a proposed scheme to implement recycling water treatment. Tables list industrial estates and relevant details like location, water source, existing wastewater treatment capacity, estimated capacity for a recycling water treatment plant, and estimated costs. Common water treatment and recycling processes are also outlined.

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!
Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Indonesia’s Industrial Estate + Real Estate
1. Introduction
Some big cities in Indonesia have facing a water scarce due to the high population and industrial
activities. The water price become more expensive not only because the source is not available,
but the operating cost it self become more and more expensive.
The water price for industry will be the function of chemical cost, power cost, spare part cost and
labour. All together have a tendency to increase every years.
A normal water price from PDAM to municipalities is around Rp. 3000 – 3500,-/ m3 , in PT.
Kawasan Berikat Nusantara industrial estate they can sell water for Rp. 5200/ m3. Based on our
calculation for a service water treatment from the river it will cost about Rp…… / m3. So
depend on typical situation on each IE, there will be a change to play with this margin.
For example we have a current inquiry from PT. Angkasa Pura for their recycling WTP with
capacity of 6000 m3/day, their current water price from PDAM is Rp. 6000,-.
Another water requirement from Krakatau Tirta, they need more water in amount of 150 l/s, there
is an opportunity to offer desalination using RO, but the recycling water treatment option is never
mentioned to the client.
Our proposal for Asahimas Chemical also waiting for clarification for capacity of 150m3/h or
3600 m3/d.
So there will be some opportunity in the recycling WTP already.

4. Recycling Water Opportunity 4
Indonesia’s Industrial Estate + Real Estate
2. Current Water and Wastewater Treatment
Based on Indonesian regulation no. all industrial estate have to treat the effluent before
discharged into the receiving water body.
Most of the IE are using surface water for their water source to WTP. A potable WTP usually
applied on the process of raw water to service water. The process are :
1. Water intake
2. Coagulation + Flocculation
3. Sedimentation using contact clarifier, lamella clarifier
4. Water filtration using gravity filter, continuous cleaning sand filter ( Dynasand, etc ) and
pressure filter
5. Chlorination
6. Service water distribution
For further treatment to get the required water quality, tenant will put their demin plant, R O on
their individual factory.
All the wastewater from the boiler, cleaning, leaking etc will be collected by individual factory
and treated on their factory. So there will be an WWTP for each factory inside their fence.
In general the block flow diagram of the water/ wastewater treatment are as follows :

From the diagram above, I think there is no one industrial estate currently applying the recycle/

4. Recycling Water Process/ Equipment
Several types of recycling water process can be found in the market . A very common recyling
unit are consisting a precipitation, sand filter and carbon filter and post treatment using
chlorination.
Some industrial estate effluent treatment are requiring the nitrification and denitrification
processes such as kaltim industrial estate.
In general for the effluent recycle for the Industrial Estate we will proposed the system which are
consisting of the following process :
1) E ff luen t tran sfer
2) F lash Mix ing
3) C l a r if ic a t io n
