Editor's Notes
MICHIGAN STATE STUDY
LOOKED AT A GROUP OF EMPLOYEES WORKING IN AN OLDER, NON LEED BUILDING, AND MOVING INTO A LEED BUILDING.
INTERVIEWED THEM IN THE OLD BUILDING, INTERVIEWED THEM IN THE NEW BUILDING.
THEY REPORTED THAT THEY WORKED MORE, BECAUSE THEY DIDN’T HAVE SICK DAYS, OR INTERUPPTIONS
MOST OF ALL THEY REPORTED THEY FELT MORE PRODUCTIVE
Perceived or not, employees reported that they felt healthier, and more productive in a green building.
Perception is reality.
