Local Rapper Ray Real Offers Solace with New Single “Bliss”
August 14, 2022 (Aurora, IL) - After 17 years of music experience, local rapper and songwriter
Ray Real released his first self-produced album titled Gemini on May 28th
of this year. Following
the release of the album's first single, ‘Wave,’ on the album's release day, Ray is following up
with a second. “Bliss” offers relatable insight into a relationship that all seem to seek. Featuring a
relaxing sample of the song “Ocean Eyes” from Billie Eilish, Ray Real offers this dose of
medicine for the restless missing their significant other.
Ray Real is best known for his performances at multiple shows and venues in the Aurora area
over the course of his musical development. These include opening for acts like Twista, Tech
N9NE, and Machine Gun Kelly at venues such as The Abbey in Chicago, The Rave in
Milwaukee, and The Forge (formerly Mojoe’s) in Joliet.
Since he parted ways with his former White Boy Schwasted members in 2017 to focus on the
development of his own style called “Real Music” Ray Real has gained praises from fans saying
that he is “finally a voice for the unheard.” Already boasting more than 15,000 plays on Spotify,
Bliss is set to be the relaxing trip of nostalgia that many are seeking.
