service provider of Air Transport communications and IT solutions with a global reach with services for over 600
members (airline, airport, aerospace, cargo, GDS etc) and around 1800 customers in over 220 countries.
SITA’s solutions spans virtually every part of the air transport ecosystem (such as reservation, check-in, flight
operations, baggage reconciliation, cargo handling).
• Module 1 : BagConnect (Under Baggage Reconciliation System).
• Responsibilities : 1. Working as Java Developer in BagConnect Module(part of SITA Baggage Reconciliation
System) which deals with the bag maintainance or maintaining mishandled bags of Customer in Airport by

2. generating and trasfering PBIMs(Pseudo Baggage Information Message) from origin airport to destination
airport. This message is generated using BSMs(Bag Source Message) present in webservice and is transfered to
destination airport. Bagconnect module helps in keeping track of the bags and also helps in finding mishandled
bags which are known as RushBags.
2. Worked on various CRs and defect fixing and maintainance of the
project. Fixed many alignment issues and worked on java script.
3. Wrote Mockito test cases for project code and increased the code
coverage from 1.4% to 60% in very short duration and got client appreciation for the same.

System) which keeps the track of the journey of the bag from check in to Flight in origin airport and from Flight to
Customer in terminating airport. So that the bag travels safely along with the customer.

BagConnect.
 PROJECT 3 : Xwalker.
• Role : JAVA Developer and WebCrawler.
• Duration : August 2013 to June 2014.

• Description : Xwalker is an e-commerce website developed using Java and PHP Language. In Xwalker the
customer can buy the tokes various products of different merchants and and use those tokens in near by shops.
The products and product information from various merchants are crawled and are imported into Xwalker
website using MT Crawler tool.
• Responsibilities : 1. Worked as Java developer and web crawler. Crawler more than 30 websites and
imported into magento and Xwalker website.
2. Created configuration files i.e, XML files for various websites to crawl/extract data. Wrote
processor classes using core java to extract data along with XML files.
3. Alone and Independently handled the crawling work in the team and done solar indexing
and importing data into the website.
