Roles and Responsibilities
1. Recruitment
• Understanding manpower requisition from the concern departments.
• Screening the candidates by conducting telephonic interviews & face to face interaction.
• Encouraging the employees to provide reference for better prospects.
• Arranging for technical interview and coordinating with the concerned employee.
• Communicating the employment status to the applied candidates.
• Maintaining and updating the database of the candidates.
2. Background Verification (BGV):
• Initiating the BGV, for the selected candidate by collection the documents of education,
experience, ID proofs and sending the documents to the Third-Party Vendor for the
background Verification.
• Once the Candidate clears the BGV then will on board him by releasing the offer letter.
3. Induction and On-boarding
• On joining the services, issuing appointment letter with brief working agreement or policies.
• Giving a description on the company/leave policies, Procedures and culture followed by the
company.
• Properly filing relevant document of the new Joiner as required.
• Introducing him/her to the team and supervisor and manager & Coordinating with the IT
team to get his email id created made.
4. Payroll
• Joining formalities for the newly joined candidates, maintaining & Updating personal
records and registers of the employees.
• Preparation of LOP statement, take a report and cross check with manual report if any
mistake is found, accordingly make necessary changes.
• Check the Long leave, Relieved, absconded, terminated, hold salary details in pay sheet
from attendance sheet.
• Verify the deductions Like PF, TDS, PT, Salary Advances etc.
• Preparing Employees attendance details for every month and run the payroll & Statutory
deductions
• Employee advances list from accounts department which were to be deducted from salaries
of such employees.
• Payroll process will have started after making deduction of advances from employees
• Sending the pay slips to all employee’s personal mail id within 01 day after released the
salary in every month.
5. HR Policies and HR Manual
• Keeping company policy documents and HR Manual up to date and updating the same to
the employees.
• Making or Amending the existing Policies and Procedures.
6. Attendance and Leave Records
• Keeping a track of the attendance of the employees.
• Filing the leave forms and keeping a track of the leaves taken.
• Sending attendance/leave details every month to concerned Manager.
7. Performance Management
• Helping the Management to do performance appraisal in a better way by adopting better
appraisal practices.
8. Employee Engagement
• Handling all queries of the employees, be it related to Salary, Leaves, Attendance, and
Transfer etc.
• Taking initiatives to engage the staff to their work.
• Taking the surveys to understand their engagement level and accordingly take actions.
• Planning events or activities regularly or on some occasions, getting those approved by
senior management and implementing those.
9. Work Force management
• Handling the staff so that employees are not dissatisfied with each other.
• See to it that there is no groupism or no dissatisfied employee.
• Conducting Back Ground Verification (BGV) and closure of failed BGV reports.
10. Exit Formalities
• Conducting exit interviews of candidates who are resigning.
• Trying to get constructive feedback for company and trying to implement the corrective
measures for them.
• Helping the employee to be relieved properly.
• Issuing relieving and letter of experience & doing the full and final settlement for the
