Quizlet is a free online flashcard tool that was created in 2005 by high school student Andrew Sutherland to help him study for his French class. It allows users to create digital flashcards across many subject areas and share them with others. Teachers commonly use Quizlet to provide study materials for students and assign practice quizzes. The site has over 1.3 million registered users who have created more than 3.5 million flashcard sets covering a wide range of academic topics.
