The majority (75%) of participants in a magazine pricing questionnaire were aged 16-24, as the questionnaires were conducted in a college environment. Most (75%) of these participants said they would pay £4-6 for a magazine, while just over 25% would pay £2-4. No participants were willing to pay £0-2, as magazine sales have declined with the rise of the internet, making magazines less common and more expensive to produce.

75% of the people I asked in the questionnaire were aged from 16-24. This was due to the college
environment the questionnaires were asked in. This resulted in almost 75% of the participants
saying they would pay £4-6 for a magazine. Just over a quarter of the participants would pay £2-4
and 0 people said £0-2. This is due to magazine sales being a rarity in contrast to 10 years ago or
more as the internet as risen in popularity. Therefore magazines have been noticed as items that
aren’t fluent in production or cheap.

The genders i asked favoured towards females. This influenced many things such the
favourite genre, which was rock. Throughout the rock music industry, an extremely high
percentage of successful bands are all male, which sets up the large appreciation of young
and older females appreciating them for their looks, style and material.

are all either students or teachers. This is why there are no participants from
the ages of 1-15. All participants consist of being either 16-24 or 25 years of
age plus.
