- 2. In what way does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conversations of real media products? For the first scene we chose to film the murderer approaching the house at night to set an eerie feel, the dark also helped to conceal the murderers face and keep a mysterious feel as to who he is and what his intentions are. The second scene we shot in daylight to first show that this is a different time period to the murder, also tells the audience that the suspense is over and the murder has happened.

Mise En Scene One key component in are filming was the costumes which made it clear to the audience who played which role in the film, Peter and Matias are dressed in forensic outfits to show the role of a forensic team examining the crime scene, I am dressed in a suit to show I play a role of importance in the film, I'm playing the role of the detective investigating the murder. Grant's costume for the first scene is a basic army uniform to show he is a member of the army who has just returned from a tour of duty, his prop bag also backs up this intention that he is returning, during the film we kept his face concealed like they do in typical crime/thrillers.
- 4. CSI In comparison to other crime/thrillers we followed there guidelines by using the correct outfits so it is clear to the viewer that the area is a crime scene. CSI Close up shots of items shows there importance and helps the audience to understand key parts of the film and fit the pieces together to understand the ending.
