This document summarizes a qualitative analysis of a novice golfer's putting stroke. The researchers observed the golfer using two cameras, focusing on five critical features: base of support, head position, shoulders, smooth stroke, and follow through. They evaluated the golfer's performance on each feature and found his head position, smoothness of stroke, and follow through could be improved. For intervention, they propose addressing the most important feature first, using intrinsic feedback like putting with eyes closed, then extrinsic cues and assistance on other areas like head and back alignment.
