How does your media product represent particular
social groups?
SOCIAL GROUPS?
Social groups are people sharing
some social relation
MY PRODUCT…
In my product we represent teenagers
in various different ways.
Mise-en-Scene was the main way of
representing teenagers.
HOW?
 Using mise-en-Scene the characters were all
dressed in casual wear but mainly brand names
such as; Converse, Nike, Adidas and Superdry ect
This displayed teenagers like for brands and
suggest that they are searching for their own
identity.
 Setting became a key point of representation. The
setting was a college demonstrating to the
audience that they are students. Young adults that
are trying to develop their lives and do something
constructive with themselves.
