ginawa mo? Sumisigaw sa akin mula sa
lupa ang dugo ng iyong kapatid, at
humihingi ng katarungan.
5. “Kasalana'y nangungusap sa puso ng
masasama,
sa kaibuturan ng puso doon ito
nagwiwika;
tumatanggi sa Diyos at ni takot ito'y
wala.”
6. “Ang nagkukubli ng kanyang sala ay
hindi mapapabuti,
ngunit kahahabagan ng Diyos ang
nagbabalik-loob at nagsisisi.”
7. 9 Sinabi rin niya ang talinhagang ito sa
mga taong mababa ang tingin sa iba at
nag-aakalang sila'y matuwid.
10 "May dalawang lalaking pumasok sa
Templo upang manalangin, ang isa ay
Pariseo at ang isa ay maniningil ng
buwis.
8. 11Tumayo ang Pariseo at nanalangin nang
ganito tungkol sa kanyang sarili: 'O
Diyos, nagpapasalamat ako sa iyo
sapagkat hindi ako katulad ng iba na
mga
magnanakaw, mandaraya, mangangaluny
a, o kaya'y katulad ng maniningil ng
buwis na ito.
9. 12 Dalawang beses akong nag-aayuno sa
loob ng sanlinggo at nagbibigay rin ako
ng ikasampung bahagi mula sa lahat ng
aking kinikita.„
13 Samantala, ang maniningil ng buwis
nama'y nakatayo sa malayo at di man
lamang makatingin sa langit.
Dinadagukan niya ang kanyang dibdib at
sinasabi, 'O Diyos, mahabag po kayo sa
akin na isang makasalanan!'
10. 14 Sinasabi ko sa inyo, ang lalaking ito'y
umuwing pinatawad sa kanyang mga
kasalanan, ngunit ang una ay hindi.
Sapagkat ang sinumang nagmamataas
ay ibababa at ang nagpapakumbaba
ay itataas."
11. 1 Isinugo ni Yahweh kay David ang
propetang si Natan. Pagdating doon ay
sinabi niya, "Sa isang lunsod ay may
dalawang lalaki, mayaman ang isa at ang
isa'y dukha. 2 Maraming kawan at
bakahan ang mayaman,
12. 3 samantalang ang dukha ay may isa
lamang munting babaing tupa. Inalagaan
niya ito at pinalaking kasama ng kanyang
mga anak. Kinakalong niya itong parang
anak na babae, isinasalo sa pagkain at
pinapainom.
13. 4 Minsan, may manlalakbay na naging
panauhin ng mayamang lalaki. Sa halip
na sa kanyang kawan kumuha ng hayop
na papatayin, ang kaisa-isang tupa ng
dukhang iyon ang kinuha ng mayaman.
At iyon ang inihanda niya para sa
kanyang panauhin."
14. 5 Napasigaw sa galit si David, "Saksi si
Yahweh, ang Diyos na buhay, a dapat
mamatay ang taong iyan!
6 Kailangang magbayad siya nang apat na
beses sa kanyang ginawa, sapagkat inapi
niya ang dukha."
7 Sinabi agad ni Natan kay David, "Ikaw
ang lalaking iyon! Ito ang ipinapasabi sa
iyo ni Yahweh, ang Diyos ng Israel:
'Ginawa kitang hari ng Israel, iniligtas
kita mula sa mga kamay ni Saul.
15. 13 Sinabi ni David kay Natan, "Nagkasala
ako kay Yahweh."
Sumagot si Natan, "Pinapatawad
ka na ni Yahweh at hindi ka
mamamatay.
14 Ngunit dahil nilapastangan mo si
Yahweh, ang magiging anak mo ang
mamamatay."
16. 1 Ako'y kaawaan, O mahal kong Diyos,
sang-ayon sa iyong kagandahang- loob;
mga kasalanan ko'y iyong pawiin,
ayon din sa iyong pag-ibig sa akin!
2 Linisin mo sana ang aking karumhan,
at patawarin mo'ng aking kasalanan!
17. 3 Mga pagkakasala ko'y kinikilala,
di ko malilimutan, laging alaala.
4 Sa iyo lang ako nagkasalang tunay,
at ang ginawa ko'y di mo kinalugdan;
kaya may katuwiran ka na ako'y hatulan,
marapat na ako'y iyong parusahan.
18. 5 Ako'y masama na buhat nang isilang,
makasalanan na nang ako'y iluwal.
6 Nais mo sa aki'y isang pusong tapat;
puspusin mo ako ng dunong mong
wagas.
7 Ako ay linisin, sala ko'y hugasan
at ako'y puputi nang lubus-lubusan.
19. 8 Sa galak at tuwa ako ay puspusin;
butong nanghihina'y muling palakasin.
9 Ang kasalanan ko'y iyo nang limutin,
lahat kong nagawang masama'y pawiin.
