5. Roles & Responsibilities:
IDIS is built on software from AMDOCS that has been customized by AT&T and
AMDOCS personnel to deliver the required functionality.
• Responsible for Test Design and Test execution in delivering a solution that is in
Compliance with the Quality to our customer in the IT sector
• Responsible for setting up the test bed which would include configuration of MPLS
backbone network, creation of IP Aggregator routers. Configuration of the IPAG
routers and setting up the virtual circuit connectivity between the Labels switch and
edge routers, building of Primary and back-up tunnels for fast re-route capability.
• Setting up various applications such as Crammer, BPEL, SoapUI, DB visualizer,
getconf.xml softwares for debugging and testing purposes.
• Identify the application related issues or errors and fix the same. This is achieved
by usage of an Application Debugger to locate the issue. This requires dumping the
• system on an analyzing tool and using the dumping tool to analyze dump file. The
tool used this purpose is appdump which is the dump analysis tool
• Performing a feature intensive manual testing on the product, carrying out the out
of box testing by performing the negative testing, checking its compatibility and
interoperability with the other components installed in the network. Logging and
tracking the bugs found during this execution phase using proprietary tool.
