This document describes a new type of battery that is safer and longer-lasting than current lithium-ion batteries. It works by using sodium ions rather than lithium ions and two different liquids to prevent fires. Sodium is more abundant than lithium, which could help lower battery costs. Initial tests show the new design can charge and discharge hundreds of times without issues.
The document discusses the benefits of exercise for mental health. Regular physical activity can help reduce anxiety and depression and improve mood and cognitive functioning. Exercise causes chemical changes in the brain that may help protect against mental illness and improve symptoms.
The document discusses the history and evolution of chocolate production. It details how cocoa beans are harvested and fermented before being dried, roasted, and ground into chocolate liquor. The Waunakee Community High School unveiled a new student information system called Infinite Campus at the beginning of the 2010-2011 school year. The system replaced the previous attendance system SASI and family communication site ParentConnect. It allows students to check grades and attendance online. While a big change, teachers and students have embraced Infinite Campus, though some aspects remain cumbersome. The school chose Infinite Campus over other options like PowerSchool and Skyward because it was found to have the best features, ease of use, and future enhancements.
The Waunakee Community High School is considering changing its graduation honors system from recognizing a valedictorian and salutatorian to a laude system of summa cum laude, magna cum laude, and cum laude. Under the proposed system, students would earn recognition based on their cumulative GPA and number of advanced courses completed. The school committee is still discussing details but expects similar percentages of students would still be honored. Responses from students are mixed, with some supporting recognition for more students and others preferring to maintain valedictorian. A final decision will be made later in January after further review.

Study: The Future of VR, AR and Self-Driving CarsLinkedIn
We asked LinkedIn members worldwide about their levels of interest in the latest wave of technology: whether they’re using wearables, and whether they intend to buy self-driving cars and VR headsets as they become available. We asked them too about their attitudes to technology and to the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the devices that they use. The answers were fascinating – and in many cases, surprising.
This SlideShare explores the full results of this study, including detailed market-by-market breakdowns of intention levels for each technology – and how attitudes change with age, location and seniority level. If you’re marketing a tech brand – or planning to use VR and wearables to reach a professional audience – then these are insights you won’t want to miss.

Tips for getting a good parking spot on a regular basis:
• Make an effort to come into school early to speak with teachers, instead of meeting with them after school.
• Become a member of a club or extra-curricular activity that has morning meetings to arrive extra early.
• Join swim team and come to morning practice at 5:30 when there is never a shortage of parking spaces.
• Intimidate your rival drivers by adding some form of flames, skulls or scary images to the sides of your car.
• As you leave the house, skip your mother’s kiss goodbye to beat the rush by 30 seconds.
• Buy a Delorean, install a Flux Capacitor, drive 88 MPH (who needs speed limits when you have no roads?).
• Carpool to school with friends, save the environment and your gas money
• Get a bike.
