My research to develop a cure for Malaria began over 8 years ago when my wife, Bonita, and I conducted medical missions in Port-du-Prince, Haiti. At a Christian orphanage directed by Roberta Audate, we observed malaria for the first time. Having seen the advantages of using low dose chemotherapy drugs in treating cancer, where the immune system remains intact and active against the cancer, I decided to help Roberta with the children in her care by giving them low dose PeroxyBioFlavonoids. We used an extended time of 16 days in the hope of immunizing the patients against the malaria by transitioning through the IgM/IgG maturation and stimulating whatever innate immunity that may also play a role. With Haitian governmental approval for a time, we were able to follow the effects of my treatment over the years in over 500 people. Though not using the normal protocol for a scientific study, this group included a close knit community of 15 churches. Furthermore, Children were selected and followed from a daily feeding program conducted by Roberta with over 165 children, including Roberta’s 20+ children who lived at her house. We saw no failures.

Prescription Drug Misuse Legal ConsequencesTeresa Miller
This document discusses the legal consequences of illegally using prescription medications. It explains that prescription drugs are classified into schedules by the DEA based on their medical use and abuse/addiction potential. Schedule I drugs like heroin have no accepted medical use and high abuse potential, while Schedule IV drugs like Xanax have a lower abuse potential. Convictions for illegally using or possessing prescription drugs can result in jail time, fines, and a criminal record, with penalties increasing for factors like proximity to schools or having prior offenses. Having a criminal record can limit future career, education, housing, and volunteer opportunities. The document stresses that abusing prescription drugs can lead to addiction and other illegal activities to obtain drugs.
Patrick Dieter gave a presentation arguing for the legalization of drugs. He summarized research showing views have shifted from overwhelmingly against to mostly in favor of legalization. Potential benefits included reducing the black market, related crime and diseases, and allowing regulation of purity and dosage. Social benefits could include less stigma and fewer people in the criminal justice system. Required elements for success would be legalizing all drugs, strictly regulating manufacturers, and providing free treatment programs. The future was envisioned as one where people could work regular jobs and purchase drugs safely from regulated stores after their work day.

"Does Foreign Direct Investment Negatively Affect Preservation of Culture in the Global South? Case Studies in Thailand and Cambodia."
Do elements of globalization, such as Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), negatively affect the ability of countries in the Global South to preserve their culture? This research aims to answer this question by employing a cross-sectional comparative case study analysis utilizing methods of difference. Thailand and Cambodia are compared as they are in the same region and have a similar culture. The metric of difference between Thailand and Cambodia is their ability to preserve their culture. This ability is operationalized by their respective attitudes towards FDI; Thailand imposes stringent regulations and limitations on FDI while Cambodia does not hesitate to accept most FDI and imposes fewer limitations. The evidence from this study suggests that FDI from globally influential countries with high gross domestic products (GDPs) (e.g. China, U.S.) challenges the ability of countries with lower GDPs (e.g. Cambodia) to protect their culture. Furthermore, the ability, or lack thereof, of the receiving countries to protect their culture is amplified by the existence and implementation of restrictive FDI policies imposed by their governments.
My study abroad in Bali, Indonesia, inspired this research topic as I noticed how globalization is changing the culture of its people. I learned their language and way of life which helped me understand the beauty and importance of cultural preservation. I believe we could all benefit from learning new perspectives as they could help us ideate solutions to contemporary issues and empathize with others.
